Community Garden Plot Rental — $20 per plot

Reserve your plot for the growing season. Plots are available to New Britain residents and community members on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Cost: $20 per plot (per season)

• Plot size: 4’x8’

• Season: spring through fall (exact dates provided with registration)

• Payment: accepted by credit on website or check mailed to our office at 58 Scarlett Dr. New Britain, CT 06053

• Registration deadline: while spaces last; renewals take priority for returning gardeners who register by the renewal deadline

• Assigned individual plot

• Water access on site

• Basic garden rules and best-practice guidelines

• Seasonal support from garden coordinator

Rules & responsibilities

• Maintain your plot in a neat and productive condition

• Remove weeds and manage pests using approved, environment-friendly methods

• No dumping of non-organic waste; composting encouraged in designated areas

• Pathways must remain clear for access and emergency use

• Plotholders are responsible for clean-up at season’s end unless opting to renew
