Rooted Together is a community-driven initiative led by New Britain Roots to expand and care for New Britain’s urban tree canopy. Through this program, 100 new shade trees will be planted across the city, mature trees will be restored at 25 locations, and a new school orchard will be established to support education and community engagement.
